One of the Agency's main missions is to identify foreign companies with plans to relocate or expand internationally, approach them and convince the decision-makers to choose Paris Region. A team of specialist consultants carries out targeted marketing campaigns throughout the year, all focused on Paris Region's sectors of excellence. It is nonetheless important to have a permanent presence in strategic areas of the world likely to generate the most business and where it is essential to constantly promote the Region's economic and technological image.
PREDA has opened three offices of its own, one in Asia (Shanghai), one in the USA (San Francisco) and during 2011, one in Israël (Tel-Aviv). The Paris Region Economic Development Agency is also in Boston thanks to Hubtech 21.
