The key to success
Paris Region's economy is rich, dynamic, diversified, competitive, creative and innovative. Above all, companies setting up in the area gain access to vast local, national and European market opportunities, with 495 million consumers. Paris Region is Europe's biggest employment base with 53% of French executives living in the area. This high proportion of senior personnel is due to the exceptional density of company headquarters located in the region.

Paris Region is home to 8% more headquarters of multinationals than London and 33% more than New York.
One of the best passenger and freight transport networks in the world makes Paris Region less than three hours away from the main European cities.
Paris Region - at the centre of a communication hub
Paris Region benefits from a first class wireless and cable telecommunications network. It leads the field in triple and quadruple play technology (Internet, television, landline and mobile phone) and where land networks are concerned, the entire region has access to Orange's ADSL2 (France Telecom), delivering speeds of up to 20 Mb at highly competitive prices. The operators Orange, Free and Neuf are installing a fiber-optic network for extremely high-speed home access (FTTH (Fiber To The Home), up to 1 gigabyte per second). More than 5,000 Wifi hot spots (including 85 free) place Paris at the head of European cities for this type of access, which will be given a further boost by the Wimax network..
