Ranked among the leading European logistics regions (European Distribution Report - Cushman & Wakefield / Healey & Baker), Paris Region stands out for its competitive rental costs, outstanding geographical location and excellent access to the European markets, as well as the quality of its logistics facilities.

In 2006, a total of 1.4 million sqm (over 15 million sq ft) of warehousing facilities were commercialised, i.e. an increase of more than 40% in one year.

Main players

Thanks to the ready availability of property at extremely attractive rates, several foreign firms have become set up or expanded their activity in the region since 2005. Currently, 5,000 logistics firms are established in Paris Region, including Air France Cargo, Fedex, UPS, DHL Solutions, Hays Logistics, Geodis, Prologis, TNT Logistics, 20-20 Logistics, IKEA and Castorama.
