Econovista: The Paris Region and its economy available "à la carte"
The easy way to discover Paris Region
Econovista®, which was launched by the Paris Region Economic Development Agency (PREDA) in June 2005, is a free online interactive economic map designed to help users discover Paris Region's rich economic, cultural and geographic offering. Econovista won the European regional marketing award at the World Investment Conference in La Baule in 2005.
Econovista effectively showcase what makes Paris Region unique compared with its European competitors. The latest version of Econovista®, released online on March 2009, takes this interactive tool to a new level, with updated data, new content, a simplified interface and enhanced graphics.
Economic information at your fingertips
Econovista® was developed primarily for companies and their consultants looking for economic information about Paris Region in order to identify potential locations for expanding or consolidating their business. It is also a valuable tool for government personnel, economic development professionals, regional authorities, the media, and even the general public.
Econovista offers 9 themed maps, reflecting the enormous richness and potential Paris Region has to offer. Every map shows you a different aspect of the region - from transport infrastructures to high-performance economic sectors, and including research centres and competitiveness clusters.
