In 1998, China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited established its representation office in the 9th arrondissement in Paris, at an ideal location between the sumptuous Opera Garnier and the famous Place Vendôme.

Our company is one of the leading Chinese airlines. It owns a fleet of 355 aircraft, serves 182 destinations and carries over 70 million passengers every year. We chose the Paris Region, on the one hand because of its economic weight, both in tourism and business travel, and on the other because of the presence of Paris-Charles de Gaulle international airport. Code shares with Air France (Lyon, Nice, Beijing and Shanghai) make it easy for passengers to catch connecting flights. During the period from June 1st to October 28th, 2011 inclusive, Paris will be served by 10 flights per week instead of 7. We shall officially be joining the SkyTeam alliance this year, which will extend our network to over 900 cities in 169 countries.
