Chief Executive and technical Director, New Imaging technologies
NEW IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES, leader in intelligent imaging sensors
What does New Imaging Technologies (NIT) do?
I founded NI T in February 2007. Twice winner of the Oséo/ANVAR innovation award, NIT produces intelligent sensors for cameras using its unique MAGIC technology. It enables the capturing of quality, unsaturated images, without the need for adjustment or an adaptation period. There is a wide range of potential market openings for our product, such as the automotive, public transport, security, defence, industrial vision, nuclear, and multimedia sectors.
What are your target markets?
We target three sectors: the automotive, the surveillance-security-defence sector, and the industrial imaging market. Our strategy is to capture market sectors where traditional sensors do not perform sufficiently well. We have already managed to break into the Japanese market, and we also work with players in the infrared sector. Our ambition is to become the world leader in our sector.
What are the key advantages of Paris Region for a company like yours?
We are based in Evry, the hub of the national telecommunications university (INT) incubator. The main way in which we benefit from the support of the Region is the funding of the XVISI ON project, endorsed by the Systematic Paris-Region cluster. This project enables us to test our technology in a real context, enabling us to improve the product in line with users' feedback. The Systematic Paris-Region cluster represents an effective ideas forum for the promotion of our technologies, but also for establishing a prime business network.
