What is QUALIXO's business activity and strategy?
QUALIXO is a young innovative company founded in 2005 which specialises in measuring the quality of software products. We offer advice on the implementation of qualimetry procedures/tools and carry out ad hoc or regular audits on new products either directly or as subcontracted by our key clients. Our business model is centred on a hands-on, occasionally community-based approach to customer service. In this spirit, we created the Club Qualimétrie (qualimetry community) (www.clubqualimetrie.fr), which is a place for sharing good practice among our key clients.

What is your flagship project?
We coordinate the SQUALE project, endorsed by Systematic Paris-Region and co-founded by Paris Region. By working together with industry (Air France, PSA, Paqtigo) and academic partners (IN RIA, the French national computer science research institute, Paris 8), this project aims to determine qualimetric and technicaleconomic models in order to develop the associated tools. An initial version of this Open-Source software came out in January 2009 and is downloadable at www.squale.org.

Is Paris Region a favourable environment for your business?
Our presence in Paris Region is strategic because many of our clients have their head offices here. Our interest in Paris Region is therefore primarily commercial, but being part of Systematic Paris-Region will also open international doors for us in future.
