Choosing the Paris Region seemed an obvious thing to do, for on the one hand France is after all a centralised country, and on the other it was easy for us to travel to Belgium from Paris. Since then, the company has grown in France, even opening subsidiaries in the South while retaining its support base in the Paris Region. In all, SAMTECH (260 employees worldwide) has 14 subsidiaries, the oldest being the French subsidiary. We are currently consolidating our positions in the Paris Region, taking an active part in the Systematic and ASTech Paris Région competitiveness clusters. For us, most research partnerships are located in the Paris Region - where 20% of SAMTECH's R&D is concentrated. We are thus taking part in a variety of collaborative research projects focusing on our core business, yet also diversifying through our participation in other projects with Mov'eo, the region's automotive competitiveness cluster.
