What is Digital & Paper technology?
It gives a sheet of paper the ability to send information gathered using a digital pen to an electronic system. In other words, Gutenberg meets Bill Gates. Founded in November 2003, KAYENTIS was initially the global integrator of a solution that was the result of research by HP, before taking up the full technological package in 2005. Our clients can be any business that experiences major operational and regulatory constraints in data collection. We mainly target the pharmaceutical, financial services and aviation industries.

You are based in Gif-sur-Yvette. How is your location in Paris Region an advantage?
Firstly, the proximity to decision-making centres is paramount. Our clients are all major organisations that are based here. Secondly, we work with research and innovation bodies such as IN RIA (French national computer science research institute) and the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). Lastly, KAYENTIS is a member of several competitiveness clusters: Systematic Paris-Region, Medicen Paris-Region, Cap Digital Paris-Region and ASTech Paris-Region. These clusters increase our visibility and raise our profile, and give us access to meetings and structured dialogue leading to collaborative ventures founded on innovation and a willingness to work together. We opened a subsidiary in Philadelphia in April 2008, and our ambition is to expand internationally, namely in the USA, a crucial move for any software developer.
