What is your line of business?
SOKARIS Ingénierie was established in 1999 and has offices in the Paris and Rhône-Alpes Regions. We provide innovative solutions for optimising mechanical structures. An integrated Product/Process approach has enabled the company to acquire expertise in the development of reliable techno-economic solutions for production engineering.

What are your flagship projects?
We will be increasing our R&D activities which currently represent 15% of our turnover. We act as SME representative in ASTech Paris Region's Vehicle Architecture focus area. Also within the aerospace cluster, we participate in the QUICK GPS project run by Snecma. We are involved in the development of a mechanism optimisation demonstrator, integrated into the ISO 3D functional dimensioning and tolerancing support tool. Much is expected to result from this programme, including the capability to assess the cost-effectiveness of these new methodologies by determining what areas they can be used in, case studies involving full-blown use in production and control, industrial methodologies geared to the type of product and skills of users involved in this new approach using automatic dimensioning and tolerancing.
