Wallix was founded in 2003 and uses the open-source model to create security and computer infrastructure management solutions for businesses. Creator of TotalSecure, a unified threat management platform for protecting business networks against intrusion, viruses and spam, Wal ix also offers Watchserver, an open-source monitoring system, and LogBox, a package that gathers, centralises and analyses logs. In 2008, Wal ix launched WAB, Wal ix AdminBastion. This solution facilitates secure administration of servers, applications and network facilities. Its main functions are management of access and identities, centralising and unifying passwords, and traceability of administration processes.

Based in Paris, Wallix leads 2 research projects within the Systematic Paris-Region cluster (ADMIN PROXY and DESKOLO ). Paris Region offers a dynamic ecosystem with support for innovation from numerous emerging Open-Source players as well as internationally renowned competitiveness clusters. We are also supported by key organisations such as Paris Region Economic Development Agency, to help us grow our exports, says the company's founder.
