What does TECFLUID do?
TECFLUID manufactures instrumentation - flow meters, volumetric counters, levels and related electronics - for the industrial measurement of liquids. Our instruments are used to regulate, manage and monitor liquid flows.

What makes your company unique in its field?
The company was established in 1974, giving us the benefit of extensive experience in the sector. We also invest 8 to 10% of our sales in R&D: we're constantly innovating in order to improve our instruments and adapt them to new markets. We're currently working on the development of a level sensor using radar technology (electric waves emitted at the speed of light), in order to meet the needs of new markets and new applications.

What's the environmental impact of your business?
Most industries produce liquid or gas effluents which need to be processed and this can be an expensive business - hence the need to measure these discharges accurately. Our instruments help to improve and optimise the management of these
fluid discharges.

What does your location in Paris Region mean for you?
Exports account for more than 40% of our turnover. The Region's attractiveness gives it a high international profile, of course - and on top of this its outstanding accessibility is a key advantage as we expand our network of contacts. This applies at national level, too, as many manufacturers have their headquarters in Paris Region.
