AGTX is the rapid prototyping division of the Allio group, specialised in powder sintering using latest generation machinery. Our business is the manufacture of parts and models from polyamide powder using 3D printing techniques, a rapid means of seeing a product in 3D before it goes into production. The company's development is focused on two key areas: making 3D printing more accessible and the direct manufacture of parts in small quantities, particularly for the aerospace industry. There are many advantages for this industry: for example, it avoids the long and costly tooling phase and is a means of obtaining parts with complex geometries in the right material, with an unbeatable quality/cost/lead time ratio. Although Dassault Aviation has been a partner of AGTX for two years and its innovative technique has already proved itself, some people still think the company is too young, says Guillaume Allio, who is relying on the company's presence within ASTech Paris Region to make the technology known.
