Managing Director, Systaic
SYSTAIC, manufacturer of monocrystalline silicium solar panels
SYSTAIC is a German company which was founded in 2003 and established its French subsidiary in 2007. Its core business is the production of black monocrystalline silicium solar panels for private homes and the installation of stand-alone photovoltaic plants. We're unique in offering a system that provides a complete roof covering system that is attractive and uniform, explains Christophe Vermersch, Systaic's Managing Director. He highlights the financial benefit of photovoltaic solar panel systems - with attractive rates paid by EDF (€0.57 in 2008 per KW generated over 20 years). And of course he emphasises the long-term environmental benefits of this solution. Photovoltaic panels don't consume raw materials, don't produce waste and don't need any maintenance - except perhaps the replacement of the inverters, he notes, adding that generating electricity with our system for just over 3 years saves the CO2 output involved in manufacturing the panels, which can be recycled at the end of the 24-year period covered by our production guarantee. Although the French subsidiary's R&D operation is based in Germany, it is beginning to develop projects based in France. The first show projects were completed in October, including one in Bagneux.
Systaic is based in Courtaboeuf and Christophe Vermersch confirms that Paris Region was the only choice of location as far as they were concerned: Paris Region is unrivalled as a base. Because of its international status, its outstanding connections, and also because this is where decision-makers, influencers and investors are based, as well as potential subcontractors.
