JEDOX AG chooses Paris Region for its new subsidiary

Jedox AG has chosen Paris as the location for its French subsidiary. Founded in Germany in 2002, Jedox is a supplier of open source-based business intelligence solutions specialising in planning, analysis and reporting.
The company specialises in applications for enterprise spreadsheets - applications capable of expanding the possibilities offered by Excel to suit the needs of medium-sized and major corporations. The Worksheet server automatically converts Excel applications into web-based applications via a web browser. The Excel-to-Web solution uses the Palo server (an open source database) developed by Jedox building on the Excel data model. Palo is available free of charge at the following address: www.palo.net
20% of the companies listed in the DAX 30 index - the reference index of Germany's Frankfurt Stock Exchange - use software developed by Jedox AG. The company currently has 50 employees based in Freiburg (Breisgau) in Germany, where its head office is located.
Jedox AG has selected Paris as its base for expanding in the French market, planning to recruit 60 employees here over the next three years. PREDA assisted Jedox in identifying premises, in building a communications plan and establishing contacts with local networks.
