Ecota settles in the Paris Region

Chinese Group ECOTA specialises in the design, manufacture and sale of fully biodegradable products for end customers such as the packaging, catering, pharmaceutical, hotel and farming industries.
The Group has several subsidiaries worldwide, including in the United States, Hong Kong, Spain and elsewhere.
ECOTA products are made from renewable resources (starch). Applications mainly include disposable crockery (cutlery, plates, punnets, etc.), bags (for stores and for shoppers), industrial packaging (trays, boxes, blister packs, etc.), hotel supplies (toothbrushes, combs, razors, etc.) as well as other products such as advertising items, flowerpots and even made-to-measure products.
ECOTA France has just settled in Antony, Hauts-de-Seine (92). This subsidiary is in charge of introducing, promoting and distributing ECOTA products throughout Europe. This project was noticed by the PREDA office in Shanghai and was then taken over by PREDA, who assisted the Chinese company by providing it with information about the market in the Paris Region. It also put the company in touch with several agencies such as the ADEME (the French Environment and Energy Management Agency) to secure financial support.
