French users of PolyWorks, the scanner data point cloud processing application developed by Quebec-based InnovMetric Software, now have a point of contact in France. The German company Duwe-3d, which has been providing technical support for the product in continental Europe since 2007, has just announced it is to open an office at Plaisir in Yvelines.
The new office will provide training and technical support and assist distributors with presentations. It will be run by Pierre Dalarun and Florian Federer who represent Duwe-3d in France.
The Quebec-based developer has also appointed Duwe-3d AG as Master Distributor for PolyWorks in France. According to the terms of the agreement, Duwe-3d will provide both before-sales and after-sales support to InnovMetric's global partners in France, as well as technical support for end users. Duwe-3d will also be responsible for increasing sales of individual PolyWorks licences to the main French automotive and aerospace manufacturers.
PREDA assisted Duwe-3d with communications and put them in touch with a range of business partners.
