Anakeen opens a paris agency

To meet growing customer demand, Anakeen is opening an agency in Paris. Initially it will employ three consultants to support ECM (Enterprise Content Management), EDM (Electronic Document Management) and KM (Knowledge Management) projects, focusing on specialist applications and a collaborative portal.

Publisher of the open-source freedom solution, Anakeen's primary mission is to maintain and constantly improve its freeware program and is committed to sharing its information management software expertise. It supports private companies, public bodies and local authorities and its partners (computer engineering and maintenance companies, integrators etc.).

Based on the freeware economic model, the freedom project is now financially mature. From the start, Anakeen has been contributing its know-how to the freedom community, while adhering strictly to the ethics of freeware. Since 2000, the freedom community has had a dedicated portal (www.freedom-ecm.org) hosting all the documentation, source codes for various versions of Linux and updates with all the latest improvements. So quite naturally, Anakeen is involved in the Open Source Village project.
With PREDA's help, Anakeen was able to find offices in central Paris.
