Aicas opens an office in La Défense (92)

Aicas GmbH, a leading supplier of technology for critical real-time applications, is building on its success in Germany, the USA and Japan by opening an office in France.

Aicas serves the aerospace, industrial control, instrumentation and automotive markets, with a client list including key players such as Boeing, EADS Astrium, EADS Military Air Systems, Honeywell and Siemens. The group has its head office at Karlsruhe in Germany and subsidiaries in the USA and Japan.

Aicas's experience in embedded Java technology offers clear potential benefits for the French market. With the opening of its French office in La Défense, Aicas will be developing a comprehensive offer of French-language services.

The new office will be managed by Didier Dusclaux, an embedded systems specialist. His vast sales and marketing experience in the electronics and semiconductor industries will help us expand our business in France, notes Andy Walter, Chief Operations Officer of Aicas GmbH. Aicas has established a strong reputation in Germany and the USA and our ambition is to raise our market position in France to similar levels, explains Didier Dusclaux. Given the fact that the French and German markets for embedded electronics are comparable in size, and given the strong cross-border connections between the two countries, Aicas's investment in France makes very good sense.
