There was a strong Paris Region presence at this year’s MIPIM, the international real-estate tradeshow for property professionals held in Cannes from March 12th to 15th, 2013. With 20,000 participants hailing from 79 countries, attendance at the event was up as compared to last year, bringing together real-estate developers and investors from all over the world for four days of intensive networking. more

This new map identifies urban planning projects which aim to integrate sustainable development objectives and to reduce the ecological footprint of the region. These districts were the winners of a competition organised by the Île-de-France Regional Council to attribute a seal of quality to “New Urban Districts”, and by the State for their designation “Eco-district”. They had to comply with strict specifications regarding energy conservation, density and urban requalification. more
