Despite a 25% drop in exhibitor and visitor numbers the exhibition remains the key European meeting place for the ICT sector as a whole.

For the 2009 session, PREDA organised a delegation in conjunction with the departmental development agencies of Seine-et-Marne (77), Val-de-Marne (91), Essonne (91) and Val-d'Oise (95). By joining forces we were able to give Paris Region a significantly higher profile at the show. Some investor meetings were scheduled jointly, making it possible for us to meet more companies and share best practice. By sharing the Paris Region stand with our partners we were able to give a good overview of all ICT activities in the region, including brochures covering all the region's different areas.

We held some 30 meetings with companies and organisations from all over the world, with German firms being in the majority. Five investment projects were identified as a result.

To coincide with this global ICT event, PREDA published Paris Region winning in Information and Communications Technology - a resource for journalists featuring testimonies from French and international entrepreneurs who have chosen Paris Region as the location for growing their business in this sector.
