Autolib’ opening up to businesses

Autolib', the self-service car rental service available throughout Paris and in 46 neighbouring municipalities, is slated to be available to businesses very soon.
Currently there are 1,462 of those electric vehicles, the BlueCars, available in 479 stations and boasting 15,000 subscribers, 5,000 of whom are on yearly subscription. The Bolloré Group is intent on doubling the amount of vehicles and pickup points by late 2012. In a bid to attract new subscribers, the Group will launch a new offer aimed at businesses as of June 15th, which will amount to a complementary clientele, since they mostly travel during the week in the daytime. In order to satisfy all kinds of businesses, there will be seven different packages on offer (2 for VSEs, 3 for SMEs and 3 for major accounts), ranging from €280 to €19,500 monthly, according to the amount of hours and users registered by the business.
