Established on the Saclay Plateau in Palaiseau, Orsay and Gif-sur-Yvette, the 3 CAPS business incubators are located in the heart of Europe's greatest R&D backbone. This territory of excellence is a higher education and research cluster boasting rare fields of expertise among its 12,000 researchers working in 160 private and public laboratories. The area hosts over 1,000 high-technology and innovation businesses and agencies: CEA, CNRS, ONERA, Ecole Polytechnique, Supélec, Paris-Sud 11 University, INRIA, Optics Institute, INSTN, ENSTA and ENSIA, as well as Danone Vitapole, Motorola, Thales, Hariba Jobin Yvon and others.
CAPS incubators currently host and support over 55 companies in a variety of sectors like R&D, business services etc.
