Founded in 1985, New West Gypsum Recycling Inc. is the world leader in the recycling of wet and dry waste gypsum, drywall/plasterboard from new and renovation construction sites, manufacturing plants, wholesalers and applicators.
The New West Gypsum Recycling process turns plasterboard waste into a valuable raw material that is used in the production of plasterboard. Gypsum recycling is a perfect example of the cradle to cradle concept, with plasterboard waste being 100% recyclable.
In 2006 New West Gypsum Recycling installed the first gypsum recycling unit in France on the site of Placo Platre in Vaujours. With 15 employees we are busy 24 hours a day 7 days a week with the recycling of plasterboard. The first tests have already started with waste collection companies taking waste from construction sites.
Beside the Paris Region location in Vaujours, New West Gypsum Recycling runs one facility in Antwerp and two in the UK, with plans to implement four more facilities in the UK & Europe over the next two years.
